Default Windows Defaults

For Windows:
Control Panel
Default Programs
Set your default programs
(Programs will load...)
Select from options. You will need to remember what it was called--
(Control Panel / Programs will list the programs installed on your computer.)

It had a white background, a menu with editing etc available in the top left corner, and individual numbering of images in the bottom left corner e.g. 1 of 30 etc. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was called but think it was just standard - I certainly don't remember particularly downloading it. And I can't find it in my drop-down menu either.

Now it's been replaced by horrible Windows Photo Viewer with a yellow background, no editing options and no number in the corner.

How do I get my old image viewer back?

Thanks

JJ
