After stealing an orb from a tomb on an almost dead planet Peter Quill is captured by a couple of odd bounty hunters and ends up sentenced to prison where circumstances lead to five intergalactic criminals joining forces whilst in a space prison and agree to work together to combat Ronan and his Kree fanatics who are after an infinity stone
I loved this at the cinema, it's a superb mix of action and humour in particular from StarLord, Rocket, Groot and Dave Bautista's Drax and a few of the Nova Corps troops
Marvel fans will recognise appearances by Bereet, Nova Corps, The Collector, Celestials and a Stan Lee cameo and a well known wise cracking, cigar smoking Duck.
