Jayne's death certificate - as has been previously mentioned, she was NOT decapitated as was widely (and erroneously) reported at the time of her death. According to this document, one of the injuries sustained was "cranial avulsion". This means that the top of her head was taken off, or more accurately, peeled back, exposing the cranium.
