NRBQ around 1991, Big Al still in the band and Terry wasn't f'ing around too much.

Bob Dylan in 92, when he had just entered another unintelligible vocal phase at this show at an amusement park (I don't recall if there was a puppet show afterwards). Two things made this show for me:
1) a blistering harmonica bit he did at the opening, not using the holder and trying to play guitar at the same time he showed he could really wail with the harp.
2) as he likes to play songs he feels like playing at the moment instead of staying locked to the set list at one point he had to gather the band around him and explain how the unrehearsed song was supposed to go. It very nearly fell apart in mid-tune but they managed to lurch through it whatever it was, just great.
