I would argue that Mick and Keiths love of blues music in the early 60s.... was the raw sex that was often in the music and lyrics...

" Im a king bee
Buzzin around your hive
I can make lots of honey,
Let me come inside....

It was a while before I realized the full sexual connotations of that
song and many more.
Those early black writers and musicians were nt messing around, they were writing and singing overtly about sex ... putting sex in the lyrics and using rythms and beats that enhanced sex.

Guys like Mick, Keith and John Mayal were picking up on it bigtime and getting the sexual and erotic messages..... and very
soon the 60s were beginning to swing !
Think back to the early 60s it was all Alma Cogan and very twee music.

Mick and the guys discovered a secret underworld of songs and music.. mainly
from the States and they launched all that raw sex on the unsuspecting British public...
much to the shock of Mary Whitehouse !
