Marco Uccellini was an obscure Baroque composer who lived most of his life in Parma and Modena, Italy. According to history he composed many operas and other vocal music, but none of it survived. He is remembered for the many sonatas he composed for violin and other instruments. This disc is a mixture of various sonatas that he composed.
