We used to have a competition at school to see who had the biggest. We were almost teenagers at the time. Everyone got measured against a 6 inch school ruler. We only ever needed a bigger one for a guy named Leslie. As time passed some of the girls who had heard of our competition became brave enough to help in the measuring.

I can assure you that having a girl or girls around, whilst getting your boyhood measured, at that young age, did not help in the slightest. Embarrassment kicked in.

So the boys that were confident with girls won all the time. In the measurement stakes and later on with the girls.

At least two of the boys being measured turned out to be gay. Not Leslie. If my memory is correct they never suffered from embarrassment.
