The site itself is often confused with the hosting of the document. Most of the time, it comes from storage sites that, to get some financial remuneration, accept advertisers. Unfortunately, these advertisers are not always verified and even less certified. So we must be careful not to misrepresent a site that remains clean and is not responsible for this malware problem and other unwanted. For my part, I write an email to the storage site, so that it is informed and that it solves the problem quickly. In case this lasts, I report this storage site via Avast or Google.
But you must not forget to protect your PC with an antivirus but also a real firewall and antimalware in real time. Moreover, one should not forget to regularly scan his PC because no protection is infallible. For me who works, communicates as much as I have fun on the net 24H / 24H, my PC is checked daily by tasks in the night period knowing that my PC stays on all the time.
PS: Do not forget to make updates to your protections daily as well as sometimes your browsers that may have security flaws that are resolved in its next version as well as for your OS. If necessary, add protection extensions (ex: AdBlock) in your favorite browser and check its security settings.
Good luck!
