Interesting thing . . . Oz is full of deadly critters -- the jellyfish really freak me out, for example.
But the only thing that really seems to bother locals are crocodiles. Walking on the bech with friends, came to an estuary; these folks who are fearless with snakes. spiders, al the biters and stingers in the sea . . . Were not at all happy at crossing muddy salt water.
