This is one of the Netflix movies I watched today. The 2016 production of Marvel's Doctor Strange based on the comic book. I used to get the Doctor Strange comic book way back in 1968-1970. It was quite good. This movie though I did not like. Though it was a box office success and won some awards for Special digital Visual effects I thought there was just way too much visual effects. There seemed to be effects throughout the movie. It was an onslaught on my eyes. When a movie has this many visual effects there is little time for character development. I also did not like the actor that played Doctor Strange. It is true that this movie introduces the character and he is quite young, but I remember him as being an older man in the comic book of the late 1960's.
