Yes, I was always happy to grab a Playboy, but not just for the girls, who were far less arousing than Penthouse, Mayfair, Club, Men Only etc. It was just so esoteric and American for a British reader. I still look at old issues now, but never for a wank, but just as perfect bit of history. My era was late 60's & early 70"s. And there were some good interviews and stories, plus plenty of good cartoons. But I could spend ages reading the ads.
Having said that, Playboys were the first few magazines I managed to acquire so there was an intensive amount of wanking at first. But once I had discovered slightly more risque UK magazines, then they took over as wanking material. Nevertheless, I still liked to see a Playboy, as a vision of somewhere not Britain - well, it was the 1970's. The US was just so different then.
