I was at secondary school in the '60s, and there was a Physics teacher (probably in his 30s, but seemed older at the time), who was rumoured to offer girls lifts home, which would be a no-no now, but may have been okay at the time.
Some years later, I was working with a woman who had been in the year above me, and she confirmed all the stories. He was known to take the picturesque route to their home, and stop off in lay-bys, wasteland etc. I asked her if she had first-hand knowledge of his activities, but she wouldn't say. However, the fact she couldn't meet my eye, and went rather pink told its own story!
Also at the school was an Accounts teacher who was a bit of a groper, but he was a smelly old sod, and never got any further than a stroke of a bum, brushing against a tit etc. Amazing that it was accepted; the girls laughed about it, but never complained to the authorities, as they would now.
