Post My call to The Latent Image

I first became acquainted with the company from that ubiquitous little ad in the back of almost every magazine at the time. First saw the ad in Penthouse, with Linda Gordon. I ordered a lot from The Latent Image over the course of several years. I still have everything - mostly slides. And I kept all the catalogs they sent - still have them too! One time I had a problem with an order, forgot what it was about, anyway I called the 800 number. I think the guy who answered the phone was Larry. Sounded like an older white gentleman so I think it was him. (This was about 1989-1992, can't remember the exact year). He was real nice and cleared up the problem. At the time I was real young and didn't know who he was. I think about it now and realize Damn! I got to talk to a legend! What a great life he had. A few years ago I read a forum post about some guy a long time ago who called RM Films about an order and Russ Meyer himself answered the phone! Old Russ was another one of my heroes...
