I too encountered similar today, see
here. I suspect there's probably
no problem with the image files concerned, but rather that the cause of this "problem" is the recent (~yesterday) update to avast free antivirus making it produce many false positives.
Hopefully they'll sort it out, but for now I've excluded those image host sites from avast's web shield & will see how that goes.
