I checked RAME and - pleased to say - Talia James did not appear on the list of dead pornstars.
Talia was the star of the first porn film I ever bought "Buttmans Ultimate Workout" - the scene where he encounters her on the stairwell still rates as one of the sexiest I've ever seen.
The image I remember is one where she's facing away from the camera and turns her head to look at you - she was the perfect "girl next door" beauty and I hated to think she had ended her days putting a gun to her head (as so many of the suicides on RAME seem to have done).
Here's hoping she's living happily somewhere - perhaps sometimes flashing that beautiful smile at young guys in the grocery store.
