Not that I'm trying to discourage you from testing out your posts here at all, and simply as a suggestion to make your life simpler - are you aware that if you press the 'Go Advanced' button below the editing area, you enter the Advanced Editor. When you're satisfied with your post you can press the 'Preview Post' button there and it will show you what it's going to look like. Nothing will actually be posted until you press 'Submit Reply'.
