Here is another disc of music by Antonio Vivaldi. This one has his only set of trio sonatas. All composers of the Baroque and Classical periods started out composing sonatas and trio sonatas when they were young, since these were the simplest of compositions. Then when these men got older they graduated to the more complex music of concertos, suites, and symphonies. Trio sonatas have always been my least favorite music. They start slow, but the music does pick up in speed and then it is better.
