I remember this set when it was first published &, at the time, I was convinced it was Rosemary - still am actually.
As for the name Circe Stathakos - No idea about Stathakos (it's a genuine Greek surname but I don't know what it means)
but Circe was the sorceress in the Odyssey who turned Odysseus' men into swine IIRC.
