At that time, I did not know the existence of this thread.
I take this opportunity to pay tribute to a great icon of French cinema and French television.
This will allow some to discover a great man who made moments dreamed on the film, moments of immense happiness.
Whether they were little or big.

Wikipedia

Pierre Tchernia left us on October 8th, 2016 at the age of 88 years.
He did not see the sun rise on this new day of Saturday.
Piere closed his eyes at 3:00 am surrounded by his son and the rest of his family.

Born the same day and same origins (East Europe) as me, he was one of those who rocked my childhood when French TV was not what it is today.
He was like a grand father who liked to see his grandson laughing and smiling through his work and his passion for Walt Disney, humorous cinema and as well as his always comforting smile and voice.

Rest in peace, my dear Pierre ...
