I'm "self-reporting" a problem here, hoping that some of you good people may have more experience with image hosts and know a better fix than I can manage.
I've been reviewing the alt-porn thread and found that a huge number of my posts from the summer of 2015 and forward into 2016, almost every one of them for more than 30 pages of the thread, have broken images. I've used Imagebam exclusively for this forum. Nothing prior to summer '15 is affected, nothing more recent.
I've been reupping images before I realized the scale and the scope of the problem. This will literally take weeks to rebuild everything. Is there a way to send a "wake up" signal to ImageBam to get all the jpgs to display?
Is this standard operating procedure for image hosts? It really makes sharing a whole lot less fun if we have to come back and redo everything every couple of years. Should I leave the posts alone until a newcomer asks me for the pics? I'm all for due diligence, but man, this is a chore...
