Two months into his presidency, Donald Trump’s ratings continue to fall. The commander in chief’s approval rating fell to a new low over the weekend to 37 percent, according to the latest Gallup poll.

Gallup’s findings came before the Congressional hearing on Russia and whether the country interfered in the 2016 election to give the Republican candidate a boost.

Back in August 2011, Mr Trump questioned (via the inevitable tweet) why Mr Obama had a “record low” Gallup approval rating of 39 per cent – which Mr Trump has now surpassed.
