Just a note about the latest software update for VLC from videolan.org....

First, I noticed the screenshots/grabs/snapshots tool is located
in a different location, under the video pull-down.
Ok, not a problem.

Secondly I got encoder errors which, for me, is a first time deal using VLC.
Using multiple sample video formats, I tested out the feature at least 4 times.

Bit of a problem there, as many of you know VLC is a great freeware tool,
and screen grabbing being one of the best features.
(You can specify file type and location from their default .PNG in MyPictures)

Surely there is a way to solve the problem and re-configure this to get
around the encoder errors, maybe such as installing another codec.
For now I rolled back to my old version 1.1.11, and this is good enough for me.

Back to the previous excellent quality:

Just a head's up if you use and love VLC.
Cheers mates.
