The B.B.C. re-ran the 'Q' series in a double bill with Monty Python at the end of the last century. Apart from the pleasure of seeing more of Julia – hardly enough, but still ... – it demonstrated that twenty five years after the first broadcast of Monty Python it was no longer funny. Milligan on the other hand seemed like a giant of comedy – but please don't ask me to explain how or why.
