Bellow the picture with Mamaia is the Neptun resort.
* in fact, the name is of Turkish origin (Doubroudja was for a very long period of time an Ottoman province). The Turkish name was Mamakioi meaning Butter Village. There is Mamaia Sat (The Grandma Village), and in the old days the shepperds used to take there sheeps into that area... and sheeps do give milk too.
Oh, and the Romanians named once a part of Mamaia beach Tataia (The Grandpa).
