Default Great googly moogly!

I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, but don't rule out the possibility of many unexplained things.
Had a couple of young women who occasionally work for me over one day a few years ago. During a break they went downstairs to the living room and kitchen. When they returned one asked me if I believed in spirits. She told me they both had felt a presence of some kind, benign, but definite, downstairs.
Surprised me a bit, as I built the place myself, and as far as I know no one who's lived there has since passed.
Have never, even since, felt anything of the sort. My 90 year-old widowed Mother was staying with me at the time, and I've moved some possessions of my late Father & Brother there, but neither ever saw the place.
Anyone else experienced such a thing?

On a much creepier note, was on a long bus ride sitting next to a girl classmate, Jean who'd recently become very religious. She went on about that a bit, not pushily, then related a story I've never forgotten. Not long before she'd been lying in bed very late one night when she suddenly felt a growing presence outside the window next tot her bed... an evil presence. Increasingly terrified, she finally got nerve enough to get up and flee the room. She was obviously sincerely shaken. Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up just thinking about that one.
