Default Help Aligning CAPS - ImageVenue Solution

Okay guys...

VEF is a great forum, the only real bugbear I've had since joining is aligning CAPS (captured images from video files) then posting them online in VEF.

Here's my observations:

For some reason I'm using ImageVenue.com (I think this is one of the recommended VEF image hosts).

Here's my simple HOW TO guide on posting caps on VEF:

1. I use VLC player to do the actual captures, but I changed a setting in VLC so you get number order. (Eg VLCCAP0000001.jpg)

2. VEF seems to like 4 caps in a row, then it will start another row of 4.

3. The TRICK is to make sure there are no gaps between cap images (coz that saves valuable server space, looks neat for members).

4. You get no gaps by deleting "white space" between these BBcode tags:
"[/URL][URL=http://xxximagefilexxx.jpg]"

5. A good total to go for is 8 caps (2 x rows on VEF)

The BBcode needs to appear in a certain way in your POST before you submit it to the forum. (Then I always hit the Preview Post button so I can see all the CAPS are aligned.

Here's some CAPS of how the BBcode needs to look to get neat 4 cap rows on VEF. (The order problem can be solved by hitting the Sorting Order Button kindly provided on ImageVenue.com. Then you just tell ImagineVenue to "sort by name" (Eg 00001, 00002, 00003)
