Red face

Here is an un-related question for you E. When you are just walking down a typical street in your hometown ( a street with concrete sidewalks) do you avoid stepping on bugs such as ants, grasshoppers or other insectoids, or do you just step on them? In Chicago in the summer there are always some insects crossing one's path and I try not to step on them, but so many especially the very small type of ant are sometimes unavoidable! It is unfortunatey an insect's destiny to be either killed by another animal(a predatory insect, or animal) or a human, and other insects like common house flies have extremely short life spans(just 30 days for a housefly).
