First three albums were solid, Justice was mediocre beyond a couple great songs, and the Black Album was not any better. Everything after that ranges from lackluster to complete shit.

You are quite nice. "Kill em all" was the only album that rocked.
All the other ones were very boring.
But in fact I'd extend your observation to "almost all the famous bands in the world".
They often wrote one to five songs that made them rich and famous and then they repeat them again and again and again on TV shows or concerts.
That's soooooo boring.
In comparison a good penciller or painter is always good and always produce new excellent drawings or paintings and is far less promoted than a famous musician.
