If I lived in Aus, I would attempt to solve the mystery of Lake George N.S.W.
Sometimes it holds water, sometimes it doesn't - for long periods either way. But no one is quite sure where the water comes from or where it goes to. Bit of a mystery for geologists and hydrologists over the years.
As you can see, when I was there only a few small ponds to be seen.
