When asked what happened to her, she told Inside Edition “real life.”
For several years, Wood lived with Evan and her grandchildren in a rented home in California. When they could no longer afford the rent, they had to move out. With no one to take them in, the family was suddenly homeless.
Her financial crisis has been worsened her daughter's mounting medical bills. Evan battled Hodgkin's lymphoma and her radiation treatments permanently scarred her lungs. She breathes through an oxygen compressor and her cancer has since returned."
