The first time for me was with an issue of National Lampoon (remember them?) in the mid-seventies.
I used to read it to laugh, but when those changes came, I was drawn to a 2-page spread of posters available for purchase.
I remember 2 in particular: one of a big-lipped blonde with a snake wrapped around her hips, and one with a brunette against an American flag, I think.
I was drawn to these images time and time again.
I wish I could get some back issues and see them once again!
