If you watched live ITV4 you would have heard an awkward interview between Ned and Dave and a 'female' called 'Pippa York' who was finished 4th in the (men's) TDF in 1984. In case anyone was confused as I was for a minute this is or was Robert Millar now living as a woman apparently. I read tabloid rumours in Richard Moore's biography but thought it might just be hype. But the reasons for Millar's low profile since retirement can be explained by this.
