Of course Benny was a great traveller on the continent and
he was a fan of the circus
Benny's father ran away to join the circus
Benny's uncle died in a high wire accident,
I also read that the most TV shows Benny did in
a year was .... 5 !
An American Benny Hill would probably have cranked out
1 show a week.... at least !
(but then, the Yanks have a different work ethic )
On his travels on the continent he visited the Swiss home of
Charlie Chaplin ( long gone by then ) Benny was chuffed to see a shelf
full of Benny Hill videos in Charlie's study !
