The armor was also good. I once read a story about a tiger which got a hit in the chain system in the middle of a fight. After the hit, the Tiger was just partially maneuverable. Nevertheless, the commander drove to the nearest repair stop. About 80 km. There, they counted about 120 more hits. This tank was combat-ready the next day.

Unfortunately, i don't know where i've read that story.
