Harsh Sam! Most musicians would die happy just to have been part of Sgt. Pepper, let alone being some of the glue that held the Beatles together far beyond the usual limits of 2 super ego's and a third major talent.... Luck on it's own can't make you as good a drummer as Ringo, he'd have had to work hard at it to get a look in in the first place. Why would Macca and Lennon take on someone who was coasting if the drums were important enough for them to dump Pete?
