This is exactly the intent of creating the Pending Model Threads area. In the past when id request threads became model threads the result was often messy and disjointed. Where members provided a link or just a reference this other post can be quoted in, discussion about the id can be removed, and added content preserved. In the PMT we can take care of the cleaning and editing so when the thread is ready to be moved it will be more professional looking and can be moved intact.
Once we're satisfied with the result the appropriate section Mods will be advised the thread is ready to be moved to their section and they can take that action. If anyone has a suggestion for an existing id request thread which should eventually become the model's thread please post the id request thread link here. We will evaluate the suggestion and begin the process by moving the thread to the PMT area.
