Default Two Spinning Balls a Tall Man and the horror of the Isoceles Triangle

"The Void" [2016]
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4255304/

I'm kinda liking the new trend of l70s and 80s horror/scifi nostalgia , call it the "Stranger Things" moment.

This nicely shot not-so-scary movie starts in a promising fashion. Even if it doesn't really deliver the goods, if you loved Phantasm, Hellraiser, The Thing (John Carpenter's) -- you'll enjoy all the shoutouts.

It also weaves a bit of a Lovecraft theme . . . all in all its not as enthusiastically weird as Phantasm, but still happy to see it. . . And who doesn't love a movie devoted to scary triangles?

Note the poster’s similarity to Clockwork Orange — there’s a lot of tongue in cheek, but that’s the problem with the movie. I wasn’t always sure whether it took itself as satire or seriously
