She definitely (and literally) was a beautiful, corn fed girl from the farm belt who just got off the bus in Hollywood. Certainly back in the early 1980s, she stood out simply because she looked so much more wholesome than the average girls who were doing hardcore (as opposed to Playboy Playmates or Penthouse Pets Of The Month - basically softcore) back then. Prettier than most young girls in hardcore back then in a wholesome girl next door way.
