Perhaps not but, depending on how many nuclear powers would be involved, humanity could find itself back in the stone age. Thousands of years of civilization wiped out in a couple of minutes. Einstein once said that he doesn't know what weapons will be used in WWIII but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones. Now that may not be the entire truth but the thought of a full-scale nuclear war between the world's most powerful militaries should be frightening to every human being with a minimum of intelligence. Apart from the millions who would die in nuclear attacks, even more will die from famine, radiation, diseases and the struggle to survive against other survivors. I don't think that the concept of nations will be anyone's priority in a world like that.
