Despite this Reuters article beeing already 3 years old, it is still up-to-date with today's reality. Contracts are contracts in the business world. In-house British resources are almost exhausted and Norwegian capacities can not be increased any further. Fact is the UK is progressively dependent on Russian supplies to ensure its future energy security.

Of course, you are free to switch to more expensive US resources. Let's see what your Ministry of Economics says about this topic.
