Fantastic clips! The advert one features the popular idea of a stripper, pity about the ending.
Starting with that gloved arm coming out from behind the spot lit curtain, Tali De Mar (the one before the last one listed a couple of posts back) next shows a leg before parting the curtains and slinking on, dressed in long red dress and black feather boa. Throw in that sleazy jazzy music and you have a good idea of what I take to mean traditional striptease!
Then the change of rhythm and she's off, strutting and and twirling, like a real striptease artiste (not just a stripper) should. Gloves off with style above her head, high kicking to show stockings and suspenders, dress off, down to corset and tassels, tremendous big red tassels going round and round in style. Even as the music slides into The Stripper. nothing much more is going to happen - this is burlesque right? Must be right, there's even a pole!
She works those tassels mercilessly and, as ever with The Stripper, it's great. The music grinds and bumps on, and predictably she discards her red corset, from behind looking great in her g-string, before sliding to the stage and giving the audience some leg work. Then shes on her knees, and with the aide of a helper, off come her tassels! To the climax of The Stripper, she abandons her tassels completely.
The music changes and she peels off her short stockings. Now dressed only in her g-string, the tassel-less Tali peels her g-string down her bum. It's an old striptease tradition but she has an even smaller g-string on underneath, oh! This one stays on and if you want to know want the topless lady does with her ice cream, you'll have to watch it.
Of course we don't get to see her nips, they're blocked. But there they are, naughty naked tits and this is burlesque!

Sure, the wolf calls from the audience are not as I remember things, but the traditional Soho strip scene in the 1980s, though by then losing its theatricality fast, was nude all the way (well at the end of each act it was). Maybe I can remember some more outstanding acts...
But it certainly was at least one kind of striptease tradition.
