Have you ever come across a rare auction item, with the intent of buying it and posting to VEF, only to see the accompanying picture here on VEF before the auction ends? It tends to drive the price up, perhaps beyond the means of VEF contributors. There doesn't seem to be any rules about this, although it seems counter-productive.
