the file plays fine and does not cut off or show any problem during playback.

My guess is that it's been converted from a file that was originally meant to play on UHQ or 4K. I think it was converted and "downscaled" to play on a 1080 monitor but if so, I'd expect the file size to shrink accordingly. I doubt that there is any visual benefit to that high a data rate on a 1080P monitor.

Could it have something to do with compression or lack thereof?
