Default Brown Snake

On the farm once one of these got into the kitchen somehow or other, climbed up on top of a cupboard and stretched himself out. This caused a bit of activity so he decided it wasn't such a great spot after all and slithered away. The farm house was on stumps as well, about 4ft above ground level.

It was a good place for snakes. We has a cattle dog who had 65 confirmed kills, over about a 10 year period. Kept telling her that they were a protected species but that didn't seem to make a lot of difference.
