Those schoolgirls in #144! Point is, when I left school in 1966, the senior girls really did wear stockings & suspenders, and you would occasionally get an eyeful! I recall one male teacher telling Susan to put her legs down - she had her feet up on the horizontal bar below the front of the desk, which lacked a modesty board - & he said he didn't want to see her legs! As hems crept up in the succeeding years, tights came to a girl's rescue, of course. Dreadful.
