When I lived in the LA area, one of my roommates had kids that got involved in what they called acrosports.
They would use a teeter board to get launched into the air and do twists and somersaults.
A group of stunt people would bring a board and mats to the grassy area in front of the lifeguard station below the Santa Monica pier and they would practice on Saturdays.
Karen was trying to get into stunt work, and showed up irregularly.
I remember her as being a very nice person who was not happy with the post centerfold obligations Playboy insisted upon.
She wanted to finish what she owed them and get out.
I also remember her as not being happy with her father.
Somewhere in my negatives, I have pictures of her at the beach, but no scanner.
