Default Ralph Medland

I found a book called The Freelance Book recently. Different chapters were written by different authors.

Ralph Medland wrote the chapter called 'Shooting Saleable Glamour'. It is illustrated with just three pictures, but they are rather nice, and may be of some interest to other forum members or visitors.

Medland mentions that his preference is for 'softer' and more 'tasteful' pictures. He mentions also that he 'discovered' Jane Warner, who, of course, became very successful, and has a sizeable thread in the forum. I would not have put up a post had there been no pictures at all, but thought I might as well put up scans of the associated text at the same time. Apart from Medland's insights into his own work, he offers an account of the market for glamour photographs around the start of the 1980s.
