Today Ian Fleming would have his 100th Birthday!
1953 he published his first novel “Casino Royale” and already in 1964 he died at the age of only 56 years old. About his storys he said, he took them from his war memories and pimped them up with a hero, a bad guy and a girl- and that’s it!
Especially for Flemings 100th Birthday today it is published a "new" Bond novel, with the title “Devil may care”, written by Sebastian Faulks and ordered by the Ian Fleming Publications Ltd!
It is said, the new story already has the blessing of Barbara Broccoli.
