On a similar theme, but from the 1970s, there was a schools programme called "Merry Go Round" which was a science-type series as I recall.

I was off school one day, and saw what seemed to be part of a MGR series about sex education. It definitely featured a full erection, with an art class drawing it, and a voice over saying "they look very serious".

It may have been the day Harold Wilson resigned (5/4/1976). It was certainly around that time,
