Its quite easy once you become familiar with each hosts bbcode
They are very different - imgbox would be the worst as its all random
The code at the start & end of a quote
- remove any part of this by accident and the quote is no more
Just be aware some hosts pics wont quote or worse they'll turn blank
pixhost .to sometimes reverts to the defunct .org and goes blank
imgbox when its having issues goes blank as well

- removed all bbcode below the 1st pic making sure not to touch the end of quote code
If your quoting the entire post - you can highlight - left click held down
what code you want removed - above and below
- right click highlighted and delete - depending what browser your using
- delete on the keyboard works equally well
I find using preview is helpful in alerting you to where you've gone wrong
Write your message , remove bbcode & hit preview
Making sure your not quoting a dead pic probably the 1st thing you should do
Copying & quoting a single image is quicker
